Either way, CP. They just aren't worth that much.

Knowing nothing about these, I would have said NP - and is it difficult to swap out a manual gearbox?

CP. If it were a twin turbo at that mileage then maybe , but at this point I don't think these are popular enough with collectors for the low mileage to justify that price tag for 24 year old car that listed in the high 30s.

It's not even a twin-turbo... Slushbox + NA... Massive crackpipe.
Here in Japan those are worth next to nothing... For exemple, this one: Twin-turbo, 40.000 miles, manual transmission: 5000$.

Dasscat the keeper of JDM has the exact same car in pretty mint condition and he has trouble selling it for under 10K. Major CP

I would think so, but then again, I haven't looked into it. I'd say find a nice manual for a good price.

At that price, it's not a crack pipe, it's a damn meth pipe.

I suppose my initial NP reaction is because it's so unmolested. Not as rare as an unmolested Supra, but still ....

But its too much for a "regular" clean car from 1991. Its as old as I am. For $2.5k more I bought an 06 GTO with 9,742 miles on the clock.... So I suggest looking. It took me since last August to finally find a car I wanted and worked out in buying. I should do a write up on that.

Auto + limo = pass. But I'd sell you my 93 manual with 90k miles for $17.5k all day.

At the very least put up some photos in these comments - that's an amazing value for money (the GTO). Still easy to get parts? Damn, I loved that car ....

Totally agree, the clean and low miles adds value, but a lot of these cars were bought as second and third cars and babied, so they aren't all that rare. If it were a turbo manual 2 seater it might pull that much, as it sits, I think it is CP at 10k, maybe looking attractive at 8-9.

I will be doing a write up soon on her, between work and needing time to do a photo shoot, I just haven't been able to get some photos other than the few I took when I bought her.

No way in hell. You can buy a mid-late 2000s 350Z with your choice of transmissions and a much nicer interior for $17,500.
Sure, you'd lose the back seats, and sure, only 26k miles might be slightly hard to find in a late model 350Z for 17.5k, but I'm 100% sure it's do-able.
CP allllllll the way

Excellent point - I'd never even thought 350Z. And the back seats in the 300 are useless anyway.

Not really, especially since this is an OBDI model
